The opportunity to integrate an innate love for people and science led Ron Hudanich to a career as a physician. Dr. Hudanich’s depth of training has provided him with the ability to treat the most complex and ordinary Orthopedic injuries, ranging from life-threatening pelvic fractures sustained in car accidents to degenerative musculoskeletal problems such as arthritis of all joints and rotator cuff disease.
Dr. Hudanich was trained exclusively in the Philadelphia region. He completed a fellowship in Orthopedic Trauma at the University of Pennsylvania and Temple University.
Dr. Hudanich is a Board Certified, Fellowship Trained Orthopedic Surgeon.
The fellowship provided extensive experience in the most severe forms of musculoskeletal injury including the treatment of complex fractures and their complications. In addition, Dr. Hudanich’s training provided him with the ability to treat many other common Orthopedic problems like arthritis, ligament and cartilage tears. Likewise, he performs replacement of the hip, knee, shoulder and even elbow employing all of the latest Orthopedic techniques and technologies such as computer assisted surgery and minimally invasive hip replacement. He also has training in complex joint replacements required after such conditions as failed joint replacements, post-traumatic arthritis, and severe fractures. He has participated in treating professional athletes, as both a resident and a fellow, including the Philadelphia 76ers and the Philadelphia Charge.
