Longwood, Fla…Ronit Kessous, M.D., a board certified pediatrician, recently joined Physician Associates’ Waterford Lakes office located at 755 N. Alafaya Trail. Dr. Kessous’ practice will focus on nursery/newborn care, circumcisions, well baby and well child check-ups, immunizations, school and sports physicals, Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) and same day acute care/sick visits.
“Due to the increasing demand for pediatric services in Waterford Lakes, we’ve seen the need for an additional pediatrician. We believe Dr. Kessous will bring added value to our current pediatric division in the area,” stated Physician Associates Chief Operating Officer Dennis Buhring.
Dr. Kessous earned her medical doctorate at St. Georges University School of Medicine in Grenada, Wis. She completed her externship in neonatology intensive at Miami Children’s Hospital and residency at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. While completing her residency, Dr. Kessous was involved in the Reach Out & Read program for children as a special project relating to juvenile diabetes. Most recently, Dr. Kessous worked at All About Kids Pediatrics in Orlando. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and American Medical Association.
