Orlando Health can now offer a network of specialists, hospitals and facilities for doctors at Physician Associates to refer their patients. Our partnership with Physician Associates will allow us to work very closely with primary care physicians to focus on keeping patients healthier and will strengthen Orlando Health’s position in the new healthcare marketplace.

Over the past several decades we have witnessed childhood obesity grow to epidemic proportions. More than 23 million children and teenagers are obese or overweight. That's roughly one child in every three!
These children risk developing serious health problems in adulthood, such as heart disease, type 2 diabetes, stroke and several types of cancer. The financial impact is a sobering $14 billion per year in direct health costs. The psychosocial consequences can hinder these kids academically and socially.

Every few years Christian Kovats, D.O. and Todd Sontag, D.O. celebrate their patients who have reached 90 years or more. This year the oldest celebrant was an amazing 96 years old. 23 birthday guests arrived with their family and caregivers for lunch, cake and friendship. This is a wonderful event for all involved. Each person gets their picture on the wall of the lobby for all future patients to see. It is the little events like this that go to show our commitment to you our patients when we say, "Good health from our family to yours."

Every year, nearly 5 million Americans need a blood transfusion. This is a constant need in our communities. This could be for the thousands of people injured during a hurricane or the one sick child living at the end of your street.
Five years ago the Director of Physician Associates Central Billing Office, Christine Palmer, was approached by the Big Red Bus. Being an active part of our communities has always been important so when asked if we would participate there was never a question. Since then every 6 months the buses roll into our administrative offices and the employees come out.
Contributing the Gift of Life is what keeps these employees signing up time after time.
