With so many kids now having their own smartphones, tablets, gaming devices and televisions, questions are now being raised if having such technology in kids' bedrooms is affecting their sleep. A recent study out of Canada found that such technology in kids' rooms does cause anxiety and sleep loss.
Dr. Alix Casler, Pediatrician, Physician Associates appeared on FOX 35 Good Day Orlando over the weekend to discuss the topic. Dr. Casler shared important information on the impact that loss of sleep can have on kids' cognitive and emotional functions and advised parents on how to handle the influx of technology in their kids' lives.
